New 2009 Advertising Options

H2H Sales strives to stay ahead of the curve. In 2009 we have added 2 new options. We feel like we now have a complete package to get our clients message out to the public in our daily routes and special events.

The first addition is this blog. The blog allows me to offer product reviews and the ability to keep an updated feel for my clients. The blog can update any new products, service, grand openings, specials, coupons, etc. that are on the truck.

Bookmark the H2H Sales blog as I am working with my clients to offer discounts and coupons for their products or services on this blog.

The next addition is FM Radio ads. No, I didn't buy a Radio station. You know I would not buy into a old form of media. I did buy into the technology. We will offer FM radio ads that will be broadcast right from the truck. Professionally made radio ads will be broadcast so when someone is stopped behind the truck they can tune into our FM broadcast. They can listen in more detail about the products and services that are being seen on the truck.

Check the calendar on the left for planned events. If you are interested in ad space during the event contact H2H sales - 614.361.5548

See you on the road.
David

P.S. The photo above is the truck in the Westerville 4th of July parade. We were pulling the Westerville Area Resource Ministry Trailer. W.A.R.M offers food and social services to Westerville residents in need.

Weather stalls Central Ohio Ice Fishing

If you are an ice fisherman in Ohio than it looks like it will be a few more weeks before we get on safe ice. I know that some guys were able to get onto Indian but I did not feel comfortable going onto 3 inches of deteriorating ice.

I will be fishing on Saturday off the Marina Docs at Alum. I have had some good success off of these docs in the past. I will have the New Humminbird Ice Flashers for anyone who wants to come join me. This will only be my second time using them but I will be offering a product review shortly. The first time I used Hummibird 55 was for about an hour and it looks to be a great unit. I just want to play with all the features before I give you a review.
Also, the picture in this blog were caught a few weeks back ago off the docs using my Ice gear.

If you find safe ice than reply here and I will join you and you can try a Humminbird yourself.

See you on the ice!

It's Ice Time Baby!!!

We finally have ice!!! Well, at least for a few days. Supposed to hit 50 in a few days. It was below zero last night. That's Ohio for you.

My goal is to hit Indian Lake this Wednesday morning. If you are out fishing around Long Island make sure you stop by and say Hi. If you see the blue H2H Sales truck than you know I am there. You can't miss me because I wear a bright yellow 100 mile an hour rain suit and I am a big guy. They say I look like a lake Erie Buoy marker.

I also want to let every ice fisherman in Central Ohio that H2H Sales will be advertising the new Humminbird Ice 55, 45 and 35. I will have these models on the ice for you to try. For you non ice fisherman, the Hummingbird Ice flasher is the newest fish locator's for Ice Fishing to hit the market. The ice flasher allows you to see your lure and also see the fish come up to it and bite your jig. It will make a novice into a pro. So I hope to see you on the ice.

If you are going out to fish feel free to email me at david@h2hsales.com. I am always up for sneaking out to Demo the units. :)

Keep checking the blog as I will be posting product reviews, Demo Locations, and my catches.

See you on the Ice

My first Client- Success or failure?

One day while I was eating at Carsonie's Restaurant in Westerville. I ran into my friends Tim And Lisa. Owners of Weisenstein Roofing, Tim And Lisa saw my ads scrolling on the truck in the parking lot. They asked me how things were going and to show them the truck.
They said their business was slow and were tired of advertising in newspapers. They wanted to try something new. After quickly showing them the truck and how it operated they were immediately impressed. They wrote a 12 week contract the next day.

A few days later their ads were up and running. Our first major event was our local 4Th of July parade in Westerville. Generations of Weisensteins came to the parade to see their ad. They were excited to see their name in the parade.

Now I wondered would they get any business? Success or Failure?

Tim and Lisa received daily calls from friends and family who had seen their ad. This was very satisfying for them because they new their ads were being seen. They knew they were branding their company name and that would help strengthen their other forms of advertising. But would it turn into deals? I asked myself.

On the Eighth day of a 12 week contract Tim calls me to tell me he got a repair job. Not bad I thought. The very next day Tim calls me and sounded even more excited. This time it was a full roof job. Tim now made enough to pay for a full year of advertising and said not to call him about renewing his contract. He Said "Just send him a bill". This is when I new that my truck would help people's businesses.

THE COLD SPELL- Now we went about 6 weeks without a call. Tim said that it was because we were in a drought and know one calls their ads when it doesn't rain. I Said "OK". Well, he was right. A couple of weeks later we had the worst wind storm in Ohio history. Six days without power. That next day Tim landed two more full roof jobs from clients calling from there cars going to work that morning. He has continued to receive calls and has renewed for his third term.

Well this is one of many success stories but my proudest since he was my first client.

Also, A big thanks to Tim and Lisa for taking the time to learn and listen about mobile advertising. I am sure glad they did!

See you on the road.

How H2H Sales started

Close to two years ago I was sitting in my cubicle and was debating what I was going to do. I was a successful wholesale mortgage rep for New Century mortgage corp. That's right, the one everyone blamed on this mortgage crisis we are in today. We had lost warehouse lines and Wall street no longer had an appetite for sub prime loans. The writing was on the wall.

As I sat there that evening in October and an interesting vehicle was stopped outside my window. Being October it was dark outside already. This truck had ads on it. It was lit up and then it moved and a new ad was being displayed. This fascinated me and i new that this is what I wanted to do. I really thought that I would buy a unit and become a realtor. I would use the vehicle to market all my listings to the public. What a way to bring client's homes into the public view. It would brand me as an innovator in the real estate market. With my background in the mortgage industry and my ability to self generate leads I felt this was the perfect fit..

After reviewing numerous mobile advertising truck companies I chose a product from Spark Trucks in Fair Hope, Alabama. I had numerous conversations with the owner. It took me almost six months of investigating these products. I liked Sparks products so much I asked the owner, Bob Tarabella if he needed a rep for the product in Ohio. Since we had been talking for the last six months and he new about my success as a wholesale rep he said yes. It also just happened to be the same time that Spark was rolling out a new unit called the Expo. This product fits on the back of any pick up and was in my price range. So H2H Sales was formed. By The way H2H stands for Hoheisel 2 Hoheisel. I want to build a successful business to pass down to my 2 boys.

Now I teamed up with Blue Laser Design in Columbus to create a website, designed a wrap for the truck and I was ready to sell trucks. One big problem, Eight months after starting we experienced the Highest gas prices ever and the worst economy in my generation. We still expect to sell a lot of trucks when the economy improves.

Our success and focus at this time has been to provide our clients the highest quality visual impressions at an affordable price. We accomplished this by creating eye catching ads and drive the truck at special events and daily routes.

We are now taking H2H Sales to the next level. We have added this blog for our clients to post there special events and promotions. We are adding FM radio to our ads in January. I will save that for another blog.

Well that's how we started. I will post success stories from my clients shortly.

See you on the Road.

Why a Blog?

I have never blogged before until I received a call from my wed designer Brian. He told me that a blog would enable me to update my clients on a daily basis. I still was not sure about this idea. Brian just said wait till i build it and give it a try.

Brian showed me how I could post all my special events that I will be traveling to with the use of the calender and how I can get my clients involved by updating the blog with their upcoming events and promotions. I can write about H2H Sales experiences and about my clients successes and struggles with advertising.

This is only my first blog. I can tell you that I see a Big benefit with this blog not only for my business but for my current clients and potential new clients to get a better feel about H2H Sales and how mobile advertising works. I hope it will also give new clients a forum to ask questions about mobile advertising.

Stay tuned for a success story from Weisenstein Roofing. Info on new clients 1st Capital Credit Corp and Hummingbird Fish Finders. Also, money saving coupons from my other clients.

I almost forgot to mention. If you need a blog set up for your website please feel free to call me at 614-361-5548 and I can hook you up with Brian.

Hope you like the Blog
